Terms of Service
Last updated: June 3, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of ConduitMap (the "Service"), operated by ConduitMap ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. The Service
ConduitMap is a web-based 3D editor that helps electricians and electrical contractors visualize the placement of equipment, route conduit, and generate prints and bills of materials for electrical rooms. The Service runs in your browser and stores project data on our cloud infrastructure.
2. Account Registration
To use most features of the Service, you must create an account. By creating an account, you agree that:
- The information you provide is accurate and current.
- You are responsible for keeping your password confidential.
- You are responsible for all activity under your account.
- You must be at least 18 years old, or have explicit permission from a parent or guardian.
- You will notify us immediately if you become aware of any unauthorized access to your account by emailing support@conduitmap.app.
3. Subscription Plans and Billing
3.1 Free Tier
The Free tier allows up to one (1) saved project and includes a thirty (30) day trial of full editing functionality. After the trial period, Free users retain read-only access to existing projects but cannot edit or create new projects without upgrading to a paid plan.
3.2 Pro Subscription
The Pro subscription is billed monthly at the rate displayed on our pricing page (currently $24.99 USD per month). Billing is handled by Stripe and renews automatically each month until cancelled. By providing a payment method, you authorize us to charge that method for each renewal.
3.3 Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time through the Manage Subscription link in your account settings, which opens the Stripe Customer Portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you will retain Pro access until that date, after which your account reverts to Free tier limits.
3.4 Refunds
We do not provide refunds for partial subscription periods or unused features. However, if you believe you were charged in error, contact support@conduitmap.app within seven (7) days of the charge and we will review your case in good faith.
3.5 Price Changes
We may modify the subscription price at any time. We will provide at least thirty (30) days advance notice of any price increase. If you do not agree to the new price, you may cancel before the change takes effect.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree NOT to:
- Copy, modify, reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any portion of the Service, except as expressly permitted by law.
- Use the Service to build or contribute to a competing product.
- Resell, sublicense, or redistribute access to the Service.
- Use automated systems (bots, scrapers, crawlers) to access the Service except as expressly authorized.
- Circumvent any access controls, rate limits, or paywalls.
- Use the Service to violate any applicable law, regulation, or third-party right.
- Upload content that infringes intellectual property, contains malicious code, or violates privacy.
- Share your account credentials with others or allow multiple individuals to share a single account.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules without notice or refund.
5. Intellectual Property
5.1 Our Property
The Service — including all source code, designs, logos, trademarks, content, and underlying technology — is owned by ConduitMap and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for its intended purpose only. No other rights are granted.
5.2 Your Content
You retain all rights to the project data, layouts, drawings, and other content you create using the Service ("Your Content"). By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display Your Content for the sole purpose of providing the Service to you (for example, displaying your projects in your dashboard).
If you mark a project as publicly shareable, you grant us the additional right to make that project viewable by anyone with the share link, in read-only form.
5.3 Feedback
If you send us suggestions, ideas, or feedback about the Service, you grant us a perpetual, royalty-free right to use it for any purpose without obligation to you.
6. Professional Use Disclaimer (Important)
Specifically, you acknowledge and agree that:
- ConduitMap is not a code-checking tool. Visual indicators of working clearance, equipment height, and similar features are illustrative aids, not authoritative determinations of compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC), local amendments, or any other applicable code.
- Codes vary by jurisdiction and change over time. The Service does not track local amendments, deletions, or upcoming code cycles. You are responsible for ensuring compliance with the codes that apply to your installation.
- Equipment dimensions are approximations. Actual equipment may vary from the models depicted. Always verify with manufacturer submittals.
- You must independently verify every layout with a qualified, licensed electrician and obtain approval from your local Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ) before any installation work begins.
- The Service does not provide professional engineering services and does not constitute a stamped engineering drawing.
You assume all responsibility for the application of any output from the Service to a real installation.
7. Disclaimers of Warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, ACCURACY, AND UNINTERRUPTED OPERATION.
We do not warrant that the Service will be error-free, that defects will be corrected, that the Service will be available at any particular time, or that the Service will meet your specific requirements.
8. Limitation of Liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT WILL CONDUITMAP, ITS OWNERS, EMPLOYEES, CONTRACTORS, OR AGENTS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES — INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOST PROFITS, LOST DATA, BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, OR CONSTRUCTION ERRORS — ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
OUR TOTAL CUMULATIVE LIABILITY ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU HAVE PAID US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM OR (B) ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS ($100).
SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF CERTAIN WARRANTIES OR LIABILITY, SO SOME OF THE ABOVE MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.
9. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless ConduitMap and its owners, employees, contractors, and agents from any claim, liability, damage, or expense (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from:
- Your use or misuse of the Service.
- Your violation of these Terms.
- Your violation of any third-party right, including intellectual property or privacy rights.
- Any installation, construction, or operational decision you make based on output from the Service.
- Any content you submit to the Service.
10. Termination
You may terminate your account at any time by emailing support@conduitmap.app or using the account-deletion option in your account settings.
We may suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, for any reason — including violation of these Terms, suspected fraud, non-payment, or extended inactivity. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends immediately. We may retain certain data as required by law or for legitimate business purposes (such as fraud prevention).
11. Modifications to the Service or Terms
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service (in whole or in part) at any time, with or without notice. We are not liable to you or any third party for any modification or discontinuation.
We may also modify these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will provide notice — for example, by email or by displaying a banner in the Service — at least thirty (30) days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the Service after the changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
12. Privacy
Our handling of your personal information is described in our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference into these Terms.
13. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of México, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising out of or related to these Terms or the Service will be resolved in the courts of Tijuana, Baja California, México, and you consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of those courts.
For users outside of México, you agree that any dispute will first be addressed in good faith through written communication with us. If we cannot reach a resolution within sixty (60) days, the dispute will be subject to the jurisdiction described above.
