Add Equipment
Pick a Model to prefill typical dimensions, or Generic to size it yourself — then verify against the submittal and flip ★ Dims Verified.
Equipment is placed at the first open spot on the selected wall. Drag to reposition · Arrow keys for fine adjust · Alt+drag to duplicate
Edit size, color, and all properties in the Properties panel after placing.
Add Conduit Run
Click Start Drawing then hover equipment to see knockout dots.
Larger conduit sizes show fewer, wider-spaced knockouts.
Green ● = available Red ● = occupied/blocked
Snap to equipment knockouts at start & end. Enter / Esc to finish.

Conduit Tool
Two ways to start a run
Right-click in the 3D view → choose Draw Conduit. Same trade size and type as the last run you drew.
Press C (or use the Conduit tab → + Add Conduit Run) → set trade size and type → start drawing.
Drawing the route
Hover equipment to reveal green knockout dots — click one to anchor the start. The conduit exits perpendicular to the wall.
Move the mouse to draw — the line locks to the wall plane. Drift 5" sideways to auto-preview a 90° bend.
Click to commit each bend point. Backspace undoes the last point.
Press D to toggle depth mode — allows crossing to an adjacent wall via the ceiling or floor (multi-wall runs).
To finish: hover the destination equipment → click its green knockout dot. Or press Enter/Esc to end mid-air.
After placement
Click a conduit to select · Double-click to open Properties (trade size, type, color, circuits, label, notes)
R to Repeat Conduit — starts a new run with the same trade size and type as the last one drawn (huge time-saver for parallel runs)
Delete or Backspace to remove the selected run
Edit circuits (wire size, count, ground) from the Properties panel — appears on the print and BOM
Tips
Nipples between adjacent panels facing each other only need a start KO and an end KO — no bends, just two clicks
Large conduit (3"+) blocks adjacent knockout positions automatically — you'll see fewer available KOs on a busy panel
Color-code runs (Properties → Color) to group circuits visually — e.g. all branch in grey, all feeders in orange
Use the Conduit tab list to see every run with trade size and length — fastest way to find a specific feeder in a crowded room
Hide finished runs from Layers while drawing new ones to keep the view clean
Equipment Layout
Two ways to place equipment
Right-click an open wall section in the 3D view → equipment is added at the click location on that wall. Fastest way for visual placement.
Press E (or use the Equipment tab) → pick the type, wall, and label → click Add. Best when you want precise control or are working from a list.
After placement
Click to select · Drag to reposition along the wall
Alt+drag to duplicate a piece of equipment in place
Arrow keys to nudge the selected piece by 1" — fine adjustments without dragging
Double-click to open the Properties panel for exact dimensions, height (AFF), label, and color
Delete or Backspace to remove the selected piece
Esc to deselect
Available categories
Panels, FACP, transformers, switchboards, meters, disconnects, racks, outlets, junction boxes, solar gear, batteries, unistrut, grounding bars, obstructions. All snap to the selected wall by default. Wall-mount offset can be tuned per-piece in the Properties panel (useful for unistrut standoff).
Tips
Lock a piece (Properties → Lock) to prevent accidental drag when routing conduit nearby
Hide individual pieces or whole walls from the Layers tab to clean up the view while routing
Use the Equipment tab list to see every piece grouped by wall — fastest way to find something in a crowded room
